October 11, 2003: The game that spurs one of the most famous quotes in Boise State history. It came at an interesting time, as the Broncos improved to 5-1 after beating Tulsa 27-20 on the blue turf.
October 10, 1970: Boise State, just two years in to its status as a four-year program, was excited to be a new member of the NCAA and the Big Sky Conference, and the Broncos’ schedule changed dramatically in the transition.
Considering that Boise State’s Jonah Dalmas hit at least 23 field goals in each of the last three seasons, it seemed like a layup that he would get another 18 this year to break college football’s career record. But the Broncos offense has thrown Dalmas a curve.
