Most of us didn’t understand what Boise State cornerback Tyler Horton was going through when we watched him being pestered in the first half Saturday night by Colorado State star Michael Gallup.

Is the second wideout wave sustainable?
The Boise State passing game broke new ground (at least in 2017 terms) last Saturday at Utah State. It was evident on the Broncos’ first play from scrimmage, when Brett Rypien hit not Cedrick Wilson, but A.J. Richardson for a 32-yard gain.

If we had wondered aloud in August about who would succeed Jeremy McNichols as Boise State’s team leader in touchdowns this season, we would have said Cedrick Wilson, or maybe Alexander Mattison.
